Zune Software for Windows

Zune software allows you to organize your favorite music, videos and photos. However, Zune Marketplace no longer supports rentals and purchases. Microsoft's video and music stores are Xbox Music and Xbox Video.

Although there is no new content, you can still use Zune PC software for playing back songs and albums that have been downloaded. You can visit Xbox Music or Xbox Video to find new content.

Zune's user interface is simple and clean. You can use the app to simultaneously play music and photos. There are also a few other features. However, Zune is a very old product that does not support many codecs and is very outdated.

Zune Software was replaced by the Windows Phone App, a desktop sync and service for Windows Phone 8.
