Zipeg for Windows

Zipeg allows you to preview the entire file before extracting. It supports many popular archiving formats, including ZIP, RAR and 7Z.

Zipeg allows you to open compressed files, sort them alphabetically, view their content, and extract the content. Zipeg supports auto-detect file name encoding. You can also preview images and not just other documents. Zipeg can extract content from encrypted password protected archives such as ZIP or RAR files, including those with multiple parts. You can select the file that Zipeg should open by default and where you want the destination file to be located.

Zipeg is an excellent tool for previewing compressed files. It is lightweight and requires very little system resources. It is easy to use, with virtually no learning curve. Zipeg cannot create archives, but that's not a problem.

Zipeg must be running Java.
