YuiNotes, a Windows post-it notes app, allows you to pin post-it notes like notes to your desktop. It works in a similar way to the Windows standard version, but has more utility and functionality.

YuiNotes is simple to use and can be learned in just seconds. The interface is easy to use and fairly self-explanatory. It's a great tool for criminally disorganized people or those who like to keep lots of notes that they can recall, hide, and dismiss at the touch of a button.

You can choose different colors for different topics. You can set the size of individual notes and use the capture function to create a post-it note from any webpage or software. You can search for specific words and references in individual post-its by using the Ctrl+f key binding.

The alarm/reminder settings that you can set for your notes are a great addition. You can create a note and then reduce it to a smaller size so it doesn't reappear after the alarm rings. You can also back up all your notes to any media you like.

YuiNotes now works seamlessly with DropBox. All notes stored on DropBox accounts are automatically backed up to DropBox. This means that they can be accessed from any device.
