Wolfenstein 3D - An Adventure Game Review

Wolfenstein is a first-person shooter game that was developed by id Software. It was released in 1995 by Apogee Software and id Soft. Wolfenstein 3D sees the player take on the role of William Blazkowicz, a Nazi prisoner who escapes and completes a series important missions against the Nazis. The game takes place during World War II when the Nazi regime threatens to attack America to stop the invasion of Europe. The game takes place at B.J.'s hometown. He has just been released from American protection, but soon he finds himself in a vicious struggle with the Nazis. His mission becomes more complicated than ever. He must deal with several Nazi prisoners as well as guards for his castle who are now his enemies.

Id Software, creators of Wolfenstein, and other action games, used two unique features to create the game. The game engine was built on the pen and pad novel format. It used the texturing and particle effects that were popular in the time, and they are still very popular today. With the introduction of Wolfenstein 3D episodes, the audio quality was already much improved. It also featured a high-quality music system that complimented the action and sound effects very well. Wolfenstein offered a wide range of weapons and guns, including fully automatic weapons and more traditional hand-held weapons and explosives.

Wolfenstein allowed players to create their characters according to their dreams and goals. They could choose to be a soldier or a doctor, a wizard or witch, or a robot or human. Only their imagination and patience were the limits to the possibilities of Wolfenstein's character creation. Wolfenstein was the first computer game to include a level editor. This allowed users to create custom levels and submit them to the game for approval. Wolfenstein can be accessed in over 80 episodes.
