How does WinToHDD work?
WinToHDD includes everything you need to make your computer system fully functional. The software CD included with WinToHDD allows you to burn the disc containing your desired image onto your hard disk. Next, you'll need to use the bootable DVD to make WinToHDD properly boot your computer. You will need an optical drive capable of writing the images to your hard drive in order to get it up and running. These drivers are required:
WinToHDD allows you to create a Windows Vista Bootable DVD that boots faster than any other CD. WinToHDD can also help you create a Windows Vista Bootable CD. This is done by cloning your operating system onto a blank CD, and then using WinToHDD to burn it to a computer. This is a far more straightforward alternative to creating a Windows System Image CD from a DVD or external drive. WinToHDD's ability create a System Image CD in a matter of minutes gives it an advantage over other programs such as SmartOS and Parallels. Windows Vista's integrated OST is the largest partition on a disk. WinToHDD can create many additional OST partitions to help you organize your system.
WinToHDD can be used to burn an image of Windows operating system. This is useful if you need to reinstall Windows. You can choose images from a variety of popular video games, including Street Fighter II, Guitar Hero, Street Fighter II and Reader Rabbit. WinToHDD allows you to easily backup your current windows installation. You can then reinstall it by copying the WinToHDD file to the same disc, and then burning it to another disk. This gives us an advantage over Parallels because we can reinstall windows the same way we would install software.
