Guide to creating a Windows Bootable Image Creator
Windows Bootable Image Creator (wbICreator), a portable utility created by AskVG writer Shashi Kumar Sinha, allows you to create a bootable backup/image for Windows XP/ Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 setup. Simply select the folder containing Windows installation files, then choose the destination folder to store the new ISO image. The tool will then prompt about what you should do next.
After Windows Bootable Image Creator has completed creating the image, you may save the newly created USB flash drive in exactly the same directory as the Windows XP and Windows Vista image files. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to uninstall it before you can start the process of creating a bootable USB flash drive. Windows Vista requires a separate program to create USB flash drives, and this program isn't included in Windows XP. To fix the issue of Windows Vista bootable USB drives, you must uninstall Windows Vista after you have done that. Click on Start, Run, Run window. Type "msconfig" into the field that appears. Enter the IP address or hostname for your Windows XP/Windows Vista machine.
After you have done this, you can open "Safe Mode" in Windows by clicking on "My Computer". This will give you safe mode access to your computer, meaning that you won't need to use any hard disk to launch Windows operating system. Next, you will need to insert the Windows XP image file or Windows Vista image file you want to create into the USB drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to launch Windows operating systems. Connect the USB drives together, then plug them into your computer's USB port to complete the Windows installation.
