Your application will be capable of creating, deleting, and fully controlling virtual serial ports. Virtual ports behave and look exactly like real ports, so other applications won't be able to tell the difference.

It is possible to control data being sent to a virtual port by other applications, and then respond to them with your own data. Developers can use Virtual Serial Port ActiveX control to enjoy features such as application detection, full baudrate emulation and connection line break emulator, and virtual port name renaming.
