Usenet Wire's interface is simple and well-designed. After the sign in page is completed, the home screen of the browser will be your first screen. You can then browse the most recent newsgroup posts, called "Latest File Groups", or the most highly rated posts, called "Best File Groups". Or you can request a custom search using the Global Usenet Search box at the top of the browser window. The results of these searches are displayed in new tabs under the main icon bar.

Next, you can download files directly from the posts. To confirm the download, click on the post. Click on the 'Transfers" button at the top to view information about your downloads. All active downloads are marked with a red square.

Click the "Newsgroups" button at the top of the page to search for newsgroups. It looks almost like a newspaper. The main window will then display a list of newsgroups that are available via Usenet.
