USB Drive Letter Manager (or USBDLM), is a free tool that allows you to manage Windows' letter assignment for USB drives. USBDLM allows you to assign a drive number to any USB devices connected to your computer.

USBDLM is currently an official Windows service. This means you can use any account on the device without administrative rights. This is typically required by Windows to edit drive letters.

A new USB drive or removable device connected to your system will automatically be assigned a letter. You can also change the letters manually by clicking on a control panel. This can be time-consuming and tedious. This is where USBDLM comes in and makes it easier.
