Platform Virtual Mac

TransMac allows you access to files and drives created for macOS on Windows operating system. This software gives you access to your computer to view, write, and format the data. Acutesystems offers a free 15-day trial before purchasing the software.

It's easy to use

If you are familiar with Windows, TransMac will not be difficult to use. TransMac is a file manager that allows you to search your hard drive for files you want to open or change. The company also offers clear support via their website.

Compatibility and functions

The software supports APFS, HFS and HFS+ Mac formats. It also supports CDs, Blu Ray, DVDs and other Apple hardware. It can open flash drives, sparse packages, and sparse images.

The software can also read multisessions made for Mac and hybrid CDs. TransMac can also open DMG files, giving you access all Apple applications.

Disk creation

TransMac is safe to use but you may encounter difficulties when creating a Mac-operable disk with it. You should always save another copy of your files to avoid corruption.

It provides support for restoring an image if a drive is damaged. It keeps a copy of the original to facilitate this feature.

It allows you to format disk images for Windows or Apple. This is similar to PowerISO, but it does NOT work cross-platform. TransMac will make the file available for macOS after you have created it.

Alternatives

MacDrive is similar in concept to TransMac, but it requires a licensing fee for each new Windows OS. It is also not efficient and does not offer the same ease-of-use as TM.

Useful for compatibility

Moving between incompatible computers is a common problem. This application provides support for macOS files and drives. Despite its complexity, Transmac is still easy to use. It allows you to access all the required formats without having to compete.
