Synapse Audio Manager's innovative program The Legend VST claims to open up a new frontier in analog modeling technology. It runs on Windows and allows users to "feel" the magic of analog sound with a variety of features.
Bigtone Studios, a specialist in vintage synths, developed the Legend VST. The program was created to faithfully follow the example of one of the most famous vintage analog synths. It's still flexible and enjoyable thanks to a variety of exciting additions.
These are the key features:
Unprecedented precision. Vectorized core with Unison, Mono, and four-voice Polyphony modes. Two versions of the circuit were modelled: Early and Late. Accurate circuit simulation. 8x oversampled engine. The Legend VST includes 480 patches. The creators have worked hard to achieve an unprecedented level of accuracy in a software program of its type. This was possible thanks to fine-tuning every component, including the voltage-controlled oscillators VCO, voltage-controlled amplifier VCA, and voltage-controlled filter VCF. According to Synapse Audio Manager, the Unison and Polyphonic modes allow for polyphonic play and thick stereo sounds. It can also synthesize four voices at a fraction of the cost of one. The Legend plug-in is an efficient analog-modelling synthesizer. The back panel allows the user to switch between Early and Late revisions. The Legend VST also offers additional options to fine-tune or adjust the final product. The Legend VST also includes 480 patches, all created by top sound designers. These are sorted into different categories such as Lead, SFX and Bass. It requires a minimum of 2 GHz quad-core CPU, 4GB memory, and VST2 (or AU compatible) host software.
