Start Survey? A creepy simulation game

Start Survey? This creepy game simulates the experience of taking an online survey. But it has a disturbing twist. The survey has been given to you by a mysterious stranger. You must complete the survey as the questions become more difficult.

This game is part a growing series of unsettling, independent games that aim at making the user feel uncomfortable. Siren Head and Granny are two other games in this vein. Start Survey? This is a free game that uses the "name your price" model.

An intense, suspenseful time

The game takes place inside a small bedroom, with rain pouring down outside. As the screen displays the questions, your character sits at a computer. The survey becomes more difficult and the events around you seem to be affected as a result.

Start Survey? This retro-styled black-and-white game features graphics that are reminiscent of the original PlayStation games. You can also choose to enable colour mode, but it is best to play in black and white. Although it is only five to ten minutes in length, it offers an intensely creepy experience that raises existential questions and leads into a twist ending.

It's short but sweet

All questions are answered "yes" and "no". You can look around the room however, but you cannot move unless the narrative permits it. The horror of this game is entirely psychological. However, it is not as effective as the gore and disturbing imagery.

Start a Survey It is a short experience that takes less than ten minutes. This only applies if you take the time to look around and answer all questions. The game was created by one independent developer. It is free to download, but donations are encouraged.
