The Spiceworks Desktop app includes the Spiceworks Help Desk, which is an excellent tool. You can get started by installing the Spiceworks Help Desk desktop application on a dedicated computer. Next, configure the app and have your users submit tickets.
The app then allows you to manage your tickets. Spiceworks handles sending out notifications via email etc. You can also run reports within the app about tickets.
Submission of a Ticket:
Once tickets are created, you will be able to access them within Help Desk. You can filter tickets by a variety of criteria to make the task easier. This is useful in situations where tickets need to be assigned to specific technicians.
Spiceworks Help Desk allows users to be kept informed about tickets they have submitted. Identify common issues that arise on a regular basis. You can also document your work and assign tickets to different technicians.
