What's the Deal with My Spark?
It seems like Windows Mobile has saved its last secret status in order to unlock the code. I recently logged onto a Windows Mobile Smartphone (Vodafone), and opened the Facebook app. When I looked at the home screen, I was shocked to see a "Forgot Password" text. It seems that Spark isn’t just saving the password but also restoring it to ensure that the user is still logged in to the phone and thus able to use it. Or it could simply change the status from ON Phone to another when it receives a special signal from an outside source that it cannot access the locked state.
This happened when I disabled spark. I couldn't figure out why, as my Spark didn’t have this feature enabled by default. Anyway, I enabled spark once more and joined some Spark groups. My Spark didn't recognize me so I started typing random numbers and letters. After about 10 minutes of no response, I decided to restart my phone and try again. The Spark's IM client software was the problem. My Spark connects through WAP, so I was used to it. However, my IM client software broke on this platform. Spark had to use a regular IM Client to connect with me.
I was able to uninstall spark again thanks to the uninstall option in its settings. After this, my IM experience was restored. If you'd like to test your Spark's IM software again, go to the "Phone", click "Fuel", and enable "Unlock Screen." This will allow you use your Spark while you're on the move without needing to connect to a computer. My first Spark experience was not great. However, I am much more comfortable connecting to my IM clients via my iPhone now, so these issues should disappear in the days ahead.
