SpaceMonger: How to Use It
SpaceMonger is a standalone download that can be used to locate and remove slow-running computer programs. To run, it doesn't need to be installed on your computer. It is easy to use and gives you easy access to your computer resources. It can also run in the background, so it can work while you sleep or work. It can be used from the desktop as an app by right clicking on "Start" or any other location on your computer that allows you to access the internet.
Analyze disk space to determine the largest file. To see how much disk space each program is using, create a pie chart, open multiple folders, search for documents that are taking up the most disk space, then sort and Tree Map these folders. SpaceMonger is a simple program that runs in background and scans your hard disk for clues about your computing habits. It can also be used for identifying which programs and documents are taking up the most space on your hard drive. Once you know which files and folders are taking up the most space, you can delete them and free up space. If you need to retrieve a file that was accidentally deleted, this advanced system can even restore it.
SpaceMonger is free to download and install. It will handle the initial installation, as well as any tasks related to cleaning up and removing left panel items and fixing broken links and files. After the initial setup is completed, click the start button and choose the option to launch SpaceMonger. The SpaceMonger desktop graphic will be displayed. Here you can choose to place SpaceMonger, set a daily log to monitor disk space usage, and, most importantly, back up your entire hard drive. This will allow you to easily restore any SpaceMonger files that are not working.
