Sonic Heroes - Will it be a game revolution or just more of the same Sonic Adventure?

Sonic Heroes is a 3D action-adventure where the player takes control of a ragtag group consisting of 3 characters with unique powers. Each character has flight, speed, and electricity. The game's goal is to progress through each level as quickly as possible, while collecting gold rings and defeating enemies robots. Sonic Heroes shares many similarities with its Xbox and Wii counterparts, but it has a more original and interesting gameplay design. We will now take a look at one its most enjoyable aspects: its unique online mode.

You'll discover that you have many tools to help you in the final part of the game. These tools will allow you to advance your progress through story missions and multiplayer games. These include mini-games within main game, as well as time-based challenges that will put you up against various increasingly difficult stages (some of them not so easy to beat). You may find yourself having to defeat nasty hedgehog enemies to advance to the next area. You can move your hedgehog with a click of the left stick. This will allow you to strategically target their nervous systems and take out their vulnerable nerves.

Sega clearly made Sonic Heroes to revamp their long-running series. It focuses on the kind of gameplay mechanics that make a difference. While the emphasis on story and multi-player may be a turnoff for some, I found it to add a lot to an already addictive game and made it more fun to play. Sonic Heroes provides a level of challenge that is unmatched by other gaming titles. This makes it a great choice for fans of this game genre. Although it's not going to make Sonic Adventure's same impression, it could still be a solid game, especially if the hedgehog's latest big-screen adventure is something you enjoy.
