Free planetary robotics game

Rolando, an indie developer, offers S.o.L.o as a free game. It's a robot adventure game set on a mining planet where hundreds of robots are left to their fate. It's easy to play and suitable for all ages.

S.o.L.o, like other games such as Metamorphosis Final Game and Yanga, was created specifically for ZX Spectrum 8 bit personal computer system. To enjoy the fun, you will need either the hardware or a compatible emulator. This is the perfect ZX Spectrum game for you if you are looking for something fun and exciting. It can be downloaded for Windows devices.

What is S.o.o?

S.o.L.o can be played quite easily. It takes place on a mining planet, as previously mentioned. The planet has been abandoned by humans, leaving behind hundreds upon hundreds of robots that are now subject to the sole protection of artificial intelligence, ISAC.

The planet is experiencing some problems with ETER extraction, a valuable substance that is unique to the planet. Some robots have become enemies of the planet and must be eradicated.

It's challenging but fun and offers a lot of playability. It also has a beautiful soundtrack that will keep your attention throughout. To enjoy the music, you will need to download the 128kb version. Music is not included in the smaller 48kb version.

There will be many enemies you must kill. You'll find different levels and you'll need various items to help you. These include key collections, laser beams and more.

Game controls

S.o.L.o was specifically designed for ZX Spectrum 8-bits PCs. However, compatible emulators can also be used to play it. You can use your Sinclair joystick or Kempston joystick to play the ZX spectrum. You can only play with the keyboard on an emulator. The letters 'O’ and 'P’ are for left- and right-handed. 'M' stands for Action, whereas 'Q' stands for Jump, &'A' stands Crouch, and ‘H’ is for Turn Off your PC.
