A text-snipping tool

SnipIT, a lightweight and free tool, is an add-on for your Internet Explorer browser. It serves one purpose: to copy and paste text into your email client.

Simple function

After installing SnipIT you will no longer see an interface. Instead, it will be directly displayed on your Internet Explorer browser page. When you right-click on a piece of text, it will appear as another option.

You can highlight the text that you wish to send via email by choosing it. The tool will take to your email client where you will find the selected paragraphs and the website URL in a box.

Although it doesn't copy media files or images, the text organization and formatting will remain the same as they were when you first opened them. Droplr is a great option if you are looking for a more comprehensive tool.

SnipIT will ask you to choose a service provider and log into your account if you are not logged in. It doesn't support obscure email addresses. To find yours, you just need to add a title to your message and the recipient.

Lightweight and quick

These tasks are completed in seconds by SnipIT, which seamlessly prepares a message and sends you off to your email client. It doesn't display any ads by itself.

This tool is only compatible with Microsoft Windows and older versions of the OS. Greenshot is available for Windows users, and it's free. It has many features.

According to their privacy policies, the only cookies SnipIT stores are the ones about websites you copy from and emails. They don't sell any.

Unnecessary

SnipIT does exactly what it is supposed to do. Windows 10's built-in Snipping Tool can do the same. SnipIT's task can be done manually so no additional program is required.
