v 1.4|Mark Heath
Skype Voice Changer allows you to change your voice for conversions via Skype. Skype Voice Changer's features are not very extensive, but it offers enough options to modify how you sound online using Skype VoIP.
Skype Voice Changer will attempt to connect to Skype when it starts for the first time. To allow Skype Voice Changer work with Skype, you will need to authorise it once Skype has started. You will also need to authorize Skype Voice Changer within Skype by clicking 'Authorize'. Once you have been authorized, the Status screen will show 'Waiting for Call'. The Effects tab will automatically be selected.
You can now apply effects to your voice. You can create an effect chain of one or more effects in the 'Effects tab. This will modify your voice during a call (the default field is empty). Clicking on the "Add Effect" button will allow you choose an effect to be added. After you have chosen an effect, you can edit and adjust its parameters in real time. Any effects you choose will affect your voice. It is important to note that you will not be able to hear the effects. To test them, you will need to call the 'Skype Echo Service. This will play back the audio you have spoken into your microphone.
Skype Voice Changer does everything it says on the tin. Although it has a few options it offers, it is a great way to hide your true voice over Skype calls. This works both over voice and video, and in real-time.
