Remote Desktop Connection Manager
Remote Desktop Connection Manager (rdcman), a powerful tool that enables information technology (IT), managers to manage, coordinate, and group remote desktop connections via a simplified user interface. RDCMan, an open-source program, can be downloaded from the Microsoft website. Remote Desktop Connection Manager can connect to and run a variety of remote desktop software, including Microsoft Windows, Citrix, Mozilla Firefox, Open Office and Microsoft Windows. To use the program, the user must first create an administrator password. This will allow for secure connection between computers sharing the same connection.
Administrators can also create profiles and connect to multiple connections simultaneously. Remote Desktop Connection Manager's main features include the creation of user profiles, connection and management of desktops, managing and changing desktop layouts, creating and managing multiple input methods, enabling automatic redirection of keyboard events and mouse events, as well as providing access to various devices such as scanners, printers, USB drives and web cameras. Advanced knowledge of the platform and software required to access these types data is required for an application that requires access to these types of data. These features are especially useful for businesses or organizations with multiple employees who need remote access. It would be cumbersome for employees to have their own computers that were connected to the company's servers. They would then need to manually enter passwords and connections.
RDCMan provides the functionality that allows multiple users simultaneously to work on the same program without the need for additional remote resources. This allows for a more efficient administration system and reduces administrative time. Remote Desktop Connection Manager allows any number of computers connected to the same administrator via a web browser to allow them to connect to one another. Administrators can often establish a secure connection to any computer within the company using certificates or Virtual Private Networks. Software can also be used to control access to secure remote resources via the internet.
