Pidgin for Windows

Pidgin allows you to log in to multiple chat networks at once using a chat program called Pidgin. This allows you to chat with friends on MSN and talk to a friend via Google Talk while simultaneously sitting in a Yahoo Chat room.

Pidgin works on Windows, Linux and other UNIX operating system.

Pidgin works with the following chat networks: AIM, ICQ and Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP. MSN Messenger, Yahoo!!, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu. IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger. QQ, Lotus Sametime. SILC, SIMPLE. MySpaceIM. You can add plugins to make it even more compatible.

Pidgin supports many chat network features, including file transfers, away messaging, buddy icons, custom smileys, and typing notifications. Pidgin also has many plugins that allow you to extend its functionality beyond the standard features.

Pidgin works with Windows' system tray.
