The screenshot feature on mobile devices and desktops has been around for some time. It has become even more important as people are more active online. It allows users to save items they find useful or interesting online. Picd is a great screenshot tool because it is easy to install and integrate into Windows PCs. You can also access it directly from the system tray.

How to take a screenshot

Picd requires you to follow a few steps. To begin, press the 'Print Screen" key in the upper right-hand corner. A message will appear explaining how to click and drag the area that you want to screenshot. After you have taken the screenshot, go back to the vertical toolbar and click the down arrow to download the image.

More tools

Picd also has a down arrow button and a cloud button. The cloud tool saves your screenshots to Picd's website. The X button cancels them, while the boxes button starts the shot. Picd also includes a horizontal toolbar that offers nine additional options. Two icons look similar to light and dark rectangles.

The rectangle with the light color allows you to draw boxes around the screenshot. The dark rectangle marks the red boxes in your screenshot. The marker tool allows to highlight text in your screenshot. The grid button allows you to blur the content by clicking on the marker icon. You can draw lines and arrows with the last three tools.

Sidenotes that are helpful

Picd will take you to the toolbar-view by right-clicking. You can then restart the program or take another screenshot by clicking on the toolbar-view. The downside is that you will need to contact the company via email in order to delete screenshots from their cloud source. There is a way to disable direct cloud upload.
