v 3.8.54|Nokia
Nokia Suite Software can sync contacts and calendar between Nokia Meego and Windows Mobile Phones.
Nokia has once more brought its excellent Windows Mobile QWERTY keyboard to the fold with the recent announcement by Microsoft of their new line of Windows Mobile smartphones. Although the move is sure to please the Nokia faithful, it doesn't do much to appease the rest. Microsoft may be trying not to be seen as a victim of its past troubles with Windows Mobile. However, the recent acquisition by Nokia suggests that Microsoft may finally have realized that Windows Mobile is a serious competitor.
Nokia Suite, as its name suggests, helps you keep your contacts in order and your calendar synchronized between Nokia Meego and Windows Mobile. This is a great feature, but it was already available on older Nokia phones. That is why the suite software is now available for older Nokia phones. This would suggest that Microsoft didn't take the time to properly port it to the Windows platform considering that the older phones couldn't support the feature in any way. Can Nokia prove that the newer Lumias are true?
Although Nokia does have ports for Microsoft Exchange, they are not very good. Although you can import your contacts from Windows, sending a message to someone else requires some knowledge of Microsoft Outlook. Many people, including myself, speculated that Microsoft needed to overhaul their entire operating system to allow people to use their calendar and email integration with their Windows Phones.
