Free camera feeds simulation game

NODOMUS is a colorfiction game developed by Colorfiction, compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 10. The game is free and available in English. Flashing images are included in this game.

NODOMUS is a surreal simulation where you can view camera feeds from probes that have been sent into the void. You can zoom in or out, and switch between different camera feeds. However, you can't interact with any object; you're only an observer. You can also try American Truck Simulator or Start Survey.

About the game

NODOMUS employs six cameras to capture probes that are sent into a mysterious void. These probes can be viewed at scale. Cameras have fixed angles so you can only control the volume and lens zoom. The camera angles can be adjusted from wide to close-up.

Images can be difficult to identify. However, some images make you think of looking through trees to the bright sunlight of the sun. You may instead see the outline of a city.

The flashing images seem to be the only purpose of the game. It gives us a glimpse of cosmic horror, which leaves us feeling uneasy and awakens our fear of the unknown. The eerie feeling is heightened by the harsh background noises.

Although it doesn't contain blood and gore, the images create an anxiety with their changing angles.

Players should be aware that the game features bright lights and flashing images.

Nodomus vs. Start Survey

You are an observer when you play NODOMUS. You can zoom in and adjust the camera, but you cannot interact with what you see. The constant movement and changes that you see creates a creepy feeling.

Start Survey is a psychological simulation with a twist. It is a survey where you answer questions, but it can also disturb you with the awkward questions that you have to answer. It's a short game with creepy experiences due to existential questions that only require 'yes' or "no" answers.

These games don't have typical horror elements like blood or gore, but they do create an anxious feeling through other means.

Unsettling and confusing

It is difficult to identify the imagery in NODOMUS. It is constantly changing and moving, creating a surreal experience that gives you the feeling of being lost in a strange place. This is not a game you want to play for long.
