Free file timestamp manager for Windows

NewFileTime allows you to change any timestamp for any file or folder on Windows. It can be used for correction and manipulation. You can make any file older or younger, or set a date and time. This utility supports multiple files, so you can set the timestamps for entire directories and directory trees.

This multilingual, small, portable and smart software is free for everyone in the home or office. Similar applications include CCleaner and Defraggler, as well as Speccy.

Uses

NewFileTime 64-bit utility for Windows allows you to quickly correct the dates and times of files and folders on your Windows computer, including their creation and last access. You don't need to install this utility to use it. The utility can be run from your desktop. This makes it portable.

This utility can be used to correct the time stamp of a digital camera or the computer, and to correct differences in summer and winter timestamps.

How to use

When you first start the program, you will see a license screen. Drag and drop a file to the NewFileTime window. Click on the "#" drop-down to specify the new date/time in one-hour increments.

You can also enter the exact date and time you want. You can select or deselect the modified or created timestamps by ticking the boxes to the right. Once you are satisfied with the date/time specified, click the 'Set Time' button. You can also change the timestamps to the current date or time by clicking on "#" and then "Current".

To remove files from the program, press the Reset button. This will allow you to bring other files into the program window. Click on the Import button to make the necessary changes.

Simple timestamp converter
