Mount & Blade: Warband, the prequel to the immensely popular Mount & Blade franchise is available. The story of Aragorn's visit at King Aderon: Warband is based on his failure to conquer Orthanc. He is left stranded in Orthanc with Galadria, his remaining wife. After her husband leaves, she experiences a nervous breakdown and dreams of a hero. She creates a village called Shatters to escape her dire circumstances. She is unable protect her people or herself when an army passes through with supplies for the coming battle. Soon she joins the ranks the Elves who must defend their fortress from the evil Sauron. She must also battle the other Elves while protecting the villages and lives her people.

The unique control system in the game places the player in a first person perspective. As they progress through the game, the player will need to learn how to react and read the situations around them. The game's fast pace makes this even more difficult. Some battles can take just seconds to complete. Some levels can be completed in less than 5 minutes. They are designed to be quickly played and repeated. As they attempt to win each level, the player's ability and willingness to use different strategies and make successful attacks will be tested. As the game progresses, difficulty increases and the player will need to make many strategic decisions to win.

The game has been remade to play on the PlayStation 4. It requires at least 1.3GB of hard drive space. The remade version of the game is identical to the original and includes many of the same settings and options. The award-winning Big Fish development team developed this version. It also includes the Mount & Blade video-outtage feature. Mount & Blade is a great online strategy game that offers hours of fun and excitement.
