Legbreaker was created by Azaan Lambkin and is a puzzle game in which you can only jump twice per level. It's free for Windows, macOS, and Linux. To advance to the next level, you must break both legs. Zuma is another puzzle-based game that you might like.

You are kidnapped and used to test your abilities. Your captors have given you a serum that will give you incredible jumping power. There's one caveat. You can break a leg every time you jump. You can only jump once before you are left crawling on a floor. To pass a level, you must break both legs.

You can play using keyboard keys. To navigate or move around the main menu, use WASD or the Arrow keys. You can pause the game by pressing Esc, and R to resume. You can jump or advance dialogue by pressing the space key.

To reach the exit door, you will need to solve various puzzles. Each vertical jump will result in a broken leg. If you don't manage to escape after two vertical jumps you must retry the level. The jump height can also be controlled by the players, making the puzzles more difficult.

Later levels will have switches, spikes springs springs and boxes. To avoid jumping spikes, you will need to move to a lower level. A spring can only be used once. To activate switches, you can also drop boxes.

You are the unwilling captive and have no voice while your captor speaks in a garbled voice. It creates a feeling of unease, and reflects the inequalities between captor & captive. It has a dark, clinical environment with horrible sounds when you break a leg, drag or crawl across the ground. Two broken legs can have their benefits. This allows you to squeeze through tight spaces and cross gaps that would otherwise require a jump.

Legbreaker is free to download or you can donate to the developer to get a challenging puzzle game. Use vertical jumps to reach higher platforms or overcome obstacles. Sometimes, you may even need to crawl the last few steps to reach the escape doors.
