Low-pixel putting game

This episode features Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge. It will be a nostalgic throwback to the Simpsons television series. It can be viewed in your browser or downloaded as a Windows program.

One for the fans

Episode 11 of Season 7 is a Simpsons episode that you may be familiar with if you are a Simpsons fan. Bart Simpson is given a copy Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge instead of a game called Bonestorm. Aaron Demeter recreated the short game of putting that was featured in the credits twenty-five years later.

Bill Oakley, one of the Simpsons' executive producers, tweeted about the game. To enjoy the low-pixel putting games, you'll need to be a dedicated fan. It's a chance for you to take on the same challenge as the show.

Limited gameplay

Lee Carvallo introduces itself and asks you what kind of golf club you would like to use when you start the game. The next step is to select how hard you want to hit it. Finally, you will need a numeric code to hit that ball. Your swing will be determined by your answers to the two questions.

Graphics and sound

The developer presents the episode with the same low graphics as the original episode, but with the same robotic voice. It is reproduced perfectly by the design, which is the only thing worth mentioning.

Download or browse

You can either play the game in your Windows browser, or download it to your computer. There is only one level in the show. The programme is free to download, but you can donate funds to the creator on the website.

Nothing more than a duplicate

Although Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge is a hit with Simpsons fans, it is merely a recreation of an episode's ending credits. The developer focused on the same low quality graphics and sound quality, but there is no depth or additional levels.
