Dominaxis Games' Labyrinth of Legendary Loot is a simple, turn-based game that puts you in the shoes of a soldier armed with a dull blade. It focuses on tactical combat, which will challenge your strategic thinking skills as you battle your way through the dungeons.

RPGs are hugely popular after Undertale's explosion. Labyrinth of Legendary Loot, an indie game, jumped on the bandwagon to take it one step further. It's a game that experienced players have compared to Brogue. It allows you to go deep into the dungeons using either your Windows, Mac or Linux computer.

Turn-based combat takes place in randomly generated dungeons. This ensures that no two playthroughs will be the same. Although the scenes you are dropped into are puzzle-like, once you have cracked the code, you will be able to use your environment against the monsters that come your way. Your goal is simple: get out of the room as fast as possible and take as little damage as you can. This goal becomes more important when you have the weight of permadeath upon your shoulders.

Your character is very basic at the beginning. This allows you to equip different items and customize your warrior to your liking. You can drop items and get new ones as you go, making your warrior a wizard.

During your exploration, you'll encounter over 100 abilities and items. Each one comes with more than fifty modifiers and a unique legendary modifier. Even though there is only one character you can play, it will feel like you are playing a different fighter each time.

The gameplay mechanics are very simple. The top-down grid view will show you where your character can be moved. The interaction happens automatically whenever you come across something. If it's an item you equip it. If it's a monster you attack it.

Turn-based combat relies on movement, time consumption, and replenishing mana as you execute actions. Every dungeon has different tactical options, so you can use your imagination and skills.

Although each playthrough is brief, Labyrinth of Legendary Loot can be used for many dungeon adventures. You can try many different ways to solve the puzzles and kill the monsters because you have the option of personalizing the experience. This is a must-have for Roguelike RPG fans.
