JDiskReport, a lightweight app, allows you to see how much space files, folders, and directories occupy on your computer's hard drives. The app analyzes your disk drives and provides statistics that you can view as tables or charts. This data can be used to determine which files and folders have become obsolete and how to deal with them.
JDiskReport, a Java-based app that displays data such size, capacity, and other parameters for your files, folders, and directories, is free. JDiskReport allows you to switch between different formats of data. JDiskReport allows you to scan either a specific tree directory or your entire C drive. After scanning is complete, you can view the results or save them.
The standard explorer view displays a folder tree view in left-hand panel. Five tabs are located in the main window and consist of: size, top 50 and size distribution.
Each tab displays a series icons that run along bottom of main window. These icons allow you to switch between styles like list, graph, or chart. Each view is useful and provides slightly different information. There are many options available, including filters, look and feel, commands, and commands.
JDiskReport is compatible with both Windows and Mac, and requires Java.
