How to burn an ISO image of your computer
The ISO Recorder website describes itself as a powerful tool (power tool) that is specifically designed for Windows XP and 2021. It allows you to create blank CDs, make ISO images of existing data discs, and even burn DVD image files (DVD support only available on Windows Vista). You must have the Microsoft imaging software installed to do this. You can run the software from a Windows CD/DVD by using a Windows CD/DVD Writer. Before you burn the CD or DVD, you can import all data from your hard drive and any image data. You can also use the Windows printer driver for creating image files directly from blank CDs or DVDs.
It can be used to create CD-ROMs or burn DVD-ROMs. It can create "bootable" CDs which can be inserted into your computer and boot up immediately (after installation). This eliminates the need for disk reinstallation. The ISO Recorder can also record the preferences of the user, such as their desktop wallpaper and favorite photos. This tool cannot be used for creating an ISO backup of your system.
A bonus is the ability to convert a WIM file into an Isofile with just one click. The WIM file can be saved to another computer or to a CD/DVD. You will need the Windows XP product DVD burner software to use this product to record data from Windows XP computers. The Windows imaging software allows you to view all recorded data in a graphical user interface. You can also choose to save the data as an ISO file. To complete this task, please refer to the Windows XP product disc.
