Hibernated 1 (Director’s Cut) is a science fiction game that lets you explore the universe. It features a text-based design, similar to A Tale of Crowns and GodAI, and graphics that are compatible with Commodore, Amstrad and other older devices. This version of the game is compatible with Windows operating systems.

Interactive fiction has many riddles and content, along with images. You awaken on a ship that has been abandoned and is destined to unravel the mysteries of the universe. You set out to discover the truth with artificial intelligence as your partner.

The game takes you to outer space to discover what lies beyond our known universe. Your character wakes up from hibernation, alone and unassisted, in the spaceship. An artificial intelligence unit will guide you on your journey, and assist with your investigation into a 1000-year-old mystery.

Hibernated 1 (Director's Cut), is based on text, dialogue, and choices when it comes to gameplay. The game will not be abruptly ended by any of your decisions, but they will change the outcome of the interaction. You can replay the game as many times you wish to test all possible outcomes.

The Director's Cut adds additional content to the original story. This game's developer completely rewrote its story and added more puzzles and riddles for extended gameplay. Although it is a faithful recreation, the new text and choices are great additions for those who have completed the original version.

The game primarily features text, but there are images as well. The graphics are retro-inspired, regardless of the platform you use. Even though you're using a Windows PC, it will feel as if you are playing on a Commodore.
