GWX Control Panel (previously GWX Stopper), is a free app that allows you to exit and configure the "Get Windows 10” system tray app. It keeps popping up on computers still running Microsoft's older operating systems, Windows 7 or Windows 8.

GWX Control Panel is lightweight and compact, and it is extremely safe and easy-to-use. If you feel the need to upgrade to Windows 10, you can re-enable the icon or upgrade notifications.
