GMER for Windows

GMER is an anti-malware tool that scans your system for vulnerabilities, evidence of Rootkit activity, and other malicious software. It features a standard explorer interface and a tabbed toolbar that includes Processes/Moduls, Services, Files and Registry, Rootkit/Malware.

GMER scans for:

Inline hooks.Drivers hooking IRP calls.Drivers hooking IDT.Drivers hooking SSDT.Hidden registry keys.Hidden Alternate Data Streams.Hidden disk sectors (MBR).Hidden files.Hidden services.Hidden modules.Hidden threads.Hidden processes.

GMER can scan for malware and monitor the following system functions. Process creating, driver loadings, library loadings, file functions, registry entries and TCP/IP connections. GMER is a tool that specializes on Rootkit removal. It is lightweight, fast and can remove Rootkits quickly.

*GMER is only compatible with Windows NT/W2K/XP/VISTA/7/8. Important: GMER should be downloaded with a different name in order to avoid detection by malware. This may prevent GMER's launch.
