GMail Drive creates an invisible filesystem around your Google Mail account that allows you to use Gmail for storage.
GMail Drive creates an invisible filesystem on top your Google Gmail account. This allows you to save and retrieve files from your Gmail account right from Windows Explorer. GMail Drive adds a new drive directly to your computer, under the My Computer folder. You can create new folders, copy, and drag'n drop files to it.
Google began offering Gmail e mail accounts to users. It has a storage space of 6000 megabytes. This gives you plenty of space, but not enough to fill it with. GMail Drive allows you to easily copy files to your Google Mail Account, and then retrieve them again.
GMail Drive generates an email and posts the file to your account when you create a new one. The e mail appears in your regular Inbox folder and the file is attached to it as an email attachment. GMail Drive periodically checks your mail account using the Gmail search function to determine if any new files have arrived. It also rebuilds the directory structures. GMail Drive is basically a hard-drive that you have installed on your computer.
