Markdown text editor
Ghostwriter is a markdown editor created by wereturtle. Ghostwriter is a markdown editor that can detect markup source language and add formatting codes to the text. Ghostwriter's simple interface makes it easy to code without distractions.
Simple InterfaceGhostwriter's interface consists mainly of the text editor. Split views allow users to see a live preview and can be split into two. The code of the user will be displayed on the left-hand side, while the formatted preview will appear on the right-hand.
Copy HTML with FocusGhostwriter offers live previews and a focus feature that highlights the line being edited. To prevent them from distracting from the user’s writing, inactive lines are reduced in contrast.
Ghostwriter also offers the Copy HTML command. This converts markdown code to HTML. Ghostwriter can still detect and display the HTML code correctly by users if they paste it in the same editor.
A bit buggyGhostwriter is a minimalist program with some nice features. However, it can sometimes be a bit slow at times. Some keys, such as the backspace or enter keys, may not work at all. It's possible to restart the app, but it can be a bit difficult during coding.
Good Despite the BugsGhostwriter is known for its tendency to have bugs but it has some great features that will aid in markdown coding. Easy language detection and a minimalist interface make programming much easier.
