Freedom.to is a website blocking tool for Windows, mac OS X and Android. It can also be used to block websites from iOS, Android, iOS and Google Chrome. Freedom for Windows is compatible to Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10. Freedom allows you to block websites and apps. Freedom is designed to help users prevent distractions from social media platforms, as well as other websites and notifications. You can set the time or duration for which they will be blocked. The session is locked and cannot be unblocked manually.

One Freedom.to allows you to block all internet access, websites and applications on all devices. It does this by using its own virtual private network, or VPN. However, it never connects with a server to ensure that your browsing activity stays on your phone. Freedom.to can be signed up via its website or the Freedom App. After signing up, you can filter apps and sites to create a blocklist.

Category filters block URLs and apps that are related to social media, news and shopping, video streaming, sport, games, gambling, and other areas. Pre-made filters block specific platforms like Amazon, Facebook and Gmail. They are already built-in Freedom and can be selected. If URLs are not already listed on the website, you can add them.

Once you have gathered all your sites and apps, it is possible to set the block session or the time they are blocked. You have three options: Start now, Start later or create a recurring session. Freedom.to for Windows allows you to manage blocked desktop applications from your taskbar. It is important to remember that only active and open apps will be added to the blocklist.

Freedom allows you to focus on your top priorities and manage your time. Block sessions allow you to know how long you have before you can access a service or view content. This program does not have access or control over your computer. However, it does have access to your browsing history and personal information.
