Writers will appreciate this handy tool
Gott Code has developed FocusWriter, a word processor. This handy tool was created to help writers focus on their writing in a distraction-free environment. FocusWriter is minimalistic and hides all interface controls that could distract from writers working on their projects.
Hide-away InterfaceFocusWriter's hide-away interface is its main selling point. The app's hideaway interface is what users see when they first launch it. FocusWriter takes up the entire screen, so users won't see their taskbars and quick icons. FocusWriter still has commands. These commands can be accessed by dragging the mouse pointer to the edges. The menu bar will be located at the top of the window. At the bottom, the open documents and daily progress will be displayed. Users will find bookmarks for their works to the left and right.
Other FeaturesFocusWriter offers an alarm system that reminds you to get started. If you have limited time to write, you can set a timer. FocusWriter allows users to set a daily writing goal, where they must write a certain number of words per day, if they really want to be disciplined.
Writers, Focus!FocusWriter is a wonderful tool that helps writers forget about all their distractions and focus on their writing. Although it can be frustrating to have commands appear when you need them, this adds to the program’s effectiveness in keeping writers focused on writing.
