v 8.2.3.5332|Derick Payne
Mozilla Firefox is a great browser but it has its limitations. It loves to eat up memory. Firefox has been affected by memory leaks since its inception.
Firemin is a small program that runs from the system tray. It tries to fix Firefox's memory-hogging ways. It runs on Windows 8, XP, Vista and Windows 7, as well as Windows 8.
Firemin's memory leakage means that Firefox runs the clean memory API call only a few times per minute, instead of Windows Memory Management, which performs similar operations more frequently.
Firemin is not a well-known app, and its benefits cannot be quantified. The app is Open Source and available for free. If it works, great! Windows Memory Management can be used to scan and release memory from running processes.
