Firealpaca's interface consists mainly of the canvas. Users can arrange windows panels around that canvas to suit their needs. If all of the window panels are open, you can easily access the most important tools for painting.

Firealpaca has more brushes than other image editing tools. Firealpaca brushes are available in many shapes, including stars, arrows and flowers, as well as leaves. For greater precision, pixel pencils and airbrushes can also be purchased. You can further customize brushes. You can adjust the brush's opacity, minimum width and scattering strength. Users will have more creative options when using this feature.

Firealpaca is more geared towards digital artists than editors so layer support and tablet pressure sensitive are essential features. The program has both. Firealpaca is compatible with most modern graphics tablets, such as Wacom. Pressure sensitivity works well.
