Feeding Frenzy 2 Game Review
Feeding Frenzy 2 Shipwreck Showdown is an arcade-style platform game created by Scott Couch and Christian Gough. It is the sequel to the popular game Feeding Frenzy 2: Seasons of Life. PopCap Games released the game in October 2021. It has both text-based dialogue and occasional full motion graphic effects and was one the most popular computer games of the year.
The story revolves around a group of stranded baleens searching for a home. The game begins when one of the whales becomes a monster-like creature and attacks all fish it sees. The player's task in the game is to feed the whales fish food from the in-game menu. This will ensure that they are happy, healthy, and not become angry. This is done by earning points through winning battles and completing challenging tasks. These unlock more difficult challenges and can be collected via small chests scattered throughout the game.
This version doesn't offer any achievements or special items, but it is similar to the first game. Instead, you can use your mouse to trigger various actions and your keyboard to perform other tasks. You will need to complete all levels and complete each challenge within a time limit to earn the special items. This is similar to the Time Attack mode in Feeding Frenzy. However, you don't have have to beat the computer to complete any of the challenges. You can also use the time trial mode to beat the clock and complete all five challenges before the time runs out. To do this, you launch straight at a whale you don't see and hope you hit it enough to trigger an action.
