Conversation-based game
Facade is a freemium video game that puts you in the middle of marital conflict between a couple. Trip and Grace, the married couple, are completely AI and you can respond to their statements however you like. The system will respond to your answers as you type them in.
Fix a marriageFacade opens the narrative with the gamer receiving a call. Trip invites the player to spend the evening at his house with Grace and himself. It all depends on what the player does or doesn't say once they enter the room.
Depending on how the computer responds, the evening can go in many directions. Technically, there is no way around the story. However, the ideal situation is for the couple to reconcile.
Limitations and bugsThere are many problems inherent to the game. Although it was originally designed for Windows XP users, the creators have created patches that allow you to download it for Windows 10. Occasionally, the game crashes and has issues with stability.
Sometimes characters in the story will react strangely. There will be awkward situations because the AI isn’t perfect. If you say melons, the couple will instantly kick you out. The graphics are also outdated, but that is minor in the grand scheme.
AlternativesDetroit: Become Human is a great choice if you're looking for a wide-ranging adventure. Facade is more open-ended than this one. Strangely, no one has tried to duplicate the same game's style. There is unlimited potential to respond however you like.
Galatea, another old game, has the appearance that it is open-ended. It's similar to the sandbox style question, where you can respond in any way you like. Unfortunately, there are no endings in this instance.
Groundbreaking conversation gameFacade is completely safe and free, so it's worth the investment. There are no other comparable narratives in the gaming industry. The concept is easy to replay, and even though the graphics are terrible, it is still fun. Facade is the right place for you if you're interested in sandbox playstyles.
