Extraneum's storyline is exactly what you would expect from a brutal first-person shooter. You are hired as a security guard on a top-secret mission. It's not surprising that aliens are involved and things quickly go south. Extraneum is similar in many ways to horror games like Pacify, [ECHOSTASIS] PROLOG, and Haunted Warehouse.

This game lets you play as a professional security guard who has been hired to protect an extraneum mission. You were selected because you scored highly in the 'universal weapon handling assessment'.

Things quickly go wrong when you reach the mission's location. You find out that you are being accompanied by a number of alien-looking monstrosities. You will need to find a way out of the danger.

Extraneum overall has an old-school feel. The pace is not too fast. While there are some intense moments, the overall pace is not too fast. Extraneum is a game that is geared towards hunters and exploration.

Extraneum requires you to do a lot of killing in order to survive. Your choice of weapons and tactics is crucial to your survival. As you progress through the game, you will receive upgrades that are essential as you explore the spooky laboratories in Extraneum.

Extraneum is still a demo. This means that some progress is still required, which is applicable to all demos. Extraneum has an intriguing storyline that will keep your attention.
