Express Rip Free CD Ripper does exactly what its name suggests. It extracts audio from CDs and converts them into digital audio files like MP3s. It does one thing well.

The interface is attractive and intuitive. The main features are clearly highlighted by easy-to-understand graphic icons. The software connects automatically to music databases and identifies tracks and albums. This makes audio file management a breeze.

Express Rip Free CD Ripper is able to rip CDs with its default settings. If you are short on time or just want your music to be ripped, it can do that for you. It does all the work for you, including ripping, converting and encoding your audio files to your hard drive.

Direct digital extraction ensures that audio quality is maintained when ripping audio. Users can adjust the volume and correct any errors before the software begins to rip your CD. Express Rip was able to quickly and painlessly rip all the CDs we gave it. (20 CDs) and offered us the option of 21 different formats to save our test album on. Although most users will choose MP3 as their default format, it is always nice to have more options.

Key Features

    It's refreshingly simple to use.

Express Rip isn't a great product, but it does have a few good features that make it stand out. It's also one reason we love it. It has one purpose, and that is to convert CDs to digital audio. This is what it does better than many other similar software.

It does however have all the necessary features to allow you to take music from a CD, and transfer it onto a computer, or another device like a smartphone or dedicated music player.

This software is a great choice. However, the fact that anyone younger than 21 considers Compact Discs something 'old people' from 20th century use made some of us feel old and angry.
