Application for e-book readers
The ePUB reader for Windows is a program that allows you to access ePUB files stored on your computer. These files can be converted into PDF or JPG and then you can use them anywhere.
User interface that is currentThe programme's UI has a distinct, last-century feel. Although the interface is basic, it is easy to navigate. There is no reader mode available for reading. This is a problem that is not present in Calibre.
FeaturesIt is limited in the features it offers. It allows you to read the downloaded books, but it does not have a place to save them so you can access them easily. The PDF and JPG converters are fast. But, the quality is poor.
NavigationNavigating through the books isn't as intuitive as it should. To browse, you can only use the mouse scroller. To navigate between sections, click on the chapter or section on the ever-present content pages.
LimitationsIt cannot view or open files that aren't ePUB. Calibre and Icecream both allow you to open different file types, such as Mobi, and convert them. There is no page-by-page mode.
ePUB Reader vs. Calibre is a far superior product, but it falls short because you have to pay for the Reader. It might be worth it if it offered more utility.
Low-value downloadThis program is not worth the space on your computer. It lacks the basic features of Icecream, a free program that provides similar functionality. UI is also severely affected by a lack of a proper reading mode.
The reading experience is not enjoyable due to the difficulties of reading the book. ePUB reader is of little use.
