An online diagram creation tool

Draw.io allows you to quickly and easily draw your content logically. If you have a Google account, it offers strong collaboration and all the tools necessary to create simple data representations.

Seamless

Draw.io is free to use once you have visited the site for the first time. You don't need an account to get started. Instead, you can select a storage space from a range of Cloud services or local storage.

The UI is simple enough that even novice users can use the functions easily. This program is secure, as it does not store any information you create on their servers.

Drawing

Next, you can decide if your diagram should be created from scratch using the tools provided.

You can also choose any of the templates that Draw.io offers, which include flowcharts, wireframes and mindmaps as well as network diagrams.

The template section is not as extensive as Creately.

Tools

Draw.io has a variety of tools that allow you to insert shapes into your diagram. There are basic rectangles and ovals, as well as stick figures, arrows and customizable flowcharts.

Collaboration

You can also enjoy collaboration features if you use this tool with Google Drive. After authenticating your Google account, you are able to share the file with others for editing.

Import and Export

Draw.io allows the import of many visual file types, including PNG, JPEG and SVG.

Exporting is easy. You can save your diagrams to a variety of formats and then send them to your hard drive or cloud storage.

Price

Draw.io is completely free to use. There are no additional features or fees for paid editions. Only the integration you choose makes a difference in the'versions'.

Perhaps too simple

Draw.io's features are sufficient to support collaboration and creation, but it is not as user-friendly as the goal. Lucidchart or PlantUml are better options for heavier uses.
