GameLab developed Diner Dash, a time management and strategy game. The game's goal is to please customers and complete as many meals tickets as possible. A successful transaction will bring more cash to Flo, the character you play. Drag-and-drop allows you to follow the'restaurant protocol'. This includes seating customers, writing their orders, and serving their meals. Diner Dash's overall goal is to help Flo in her career in the restaurant business.

Flo quit her corporate job to open a restaurant. First, she needs to rise in the food industry and make enough money to open her own restaurant. The Career mode allows you to earn a certain amount of money or a certain quota. After each successful transaction with a client, the money is earned. Once you have reached the quota for that level, you can move on to the next. Although the Endless Shift mode can also produce earnings, the goal is to stay at one level.

Drag-and-drop is used to play the game. This allows you to move customers and Flo around your restaurant. First, guide customers to a clean table. Next, you must help Flo find their table so that they can place their order. All orders must be sent directly to the service hatch. You must make sure that the correct order is given to the customer once the meal arrives at the kitchen counter.

Customers' avatars feature a series heart-shaped hearts above their heads. This is a sign of their mood. Customers with more hearts indicate they are happier. Customers have different tipping habits and personalities. It is important to understand this. Customers will be happy if you offer them drinks and chat with them while they wait. However, the outcome will depend on the customer's personality. It is therefore important to fulfill the order as quickly as possible.
