Table comparison app for free
Vovsoft's freeware utility Compare Two Lists is available for Windows. It is designed to compare two tables. The lists can include numbers or words. Version 1.1 of this utility works with Windows XP and Windows 10.
Straightforward featuresYou can download the program as either an installer or a portable version. It is easy to use, and you don't require any special skills. The top toolbar only has two options: File and Help.
You can choose Exit from File. You can also access Help to provide feedback and view "About" information. This software is freeware and you will find instructions under "Info" if you ever need to uninstall it.
The program's screen splits into two panels, which contain list 1 and 2. You can load the text files that you want to compare, paste or type the contents of the two boards. Click the compare button to see a summary of your results. To compare your listings, the software uses set interactions (and), sets unions (or), as well as set differences.
You can indicate whether you want the comparison case-sensitive or not. You can view both the listings and only one listing. You will find a button at the bottom of each listing that will remove duplicates.
After you have finished analysing the results you can choose which type of result you want to export. Save your results as a plain text file and choose the encoding for your output file.
Installing the softwareDownload the Vovsoft freeware application. Extract the contents from the zip file. Double-click the "compare2lists.exe" installation file to open the program. If Windows warns you that your computer is being protected, click on "More Information" and then click "Run Anyway" to open the program.
