Photoshop Color Quality Adjustment

Editor: ColorPix is, like many other free image editors. It captures the pixel from your mouse and converts it into a variety other image formats. To enlarge an image, click and drag on it, or to store a color value in the clipboard, you can use the built-in Magnifier. It is a bit cumbersome for me, however. To zoom in or manipulate an image, you would either need to move the mouse cursor within the photo (which is difficult because the picture is small) or press alt-click to open the zoom tool. Next, enter the desired size of the image into the "chart", and the software will crop it so that the new image has the exact dimensions. Click the "Save" button to save the edited image.

ColorPix has one problem that I have found: if you attempt to save an image as JPEG, it will display an error message saying that the file cannot be opened. This is because ColorPix uses the RGB code system instead of the CMYK system used by Windows. ColorPix is accessible by almost any computer, as RGB color codes are more widely recognized. If you use a Mac computer, however, ColorPix might not display properly on the Mac operating systems and may not be accessible on all browsers. This is easily fixed with Paint Shop Pro, a freeware Photoshop alternative that includes a "hex color" converter utility.

You can view your images in their original state by opening them in Paint Shop Pro. Set the colorpix window at the "Original” size. Next, click on the "olors" tab in the colorpix windows and select the desired color values. Then save the images as JPEG using exactly the same method as you did to save it as GIF in step 1.
