City of Heroes: Homecoming can be downloaded for free on your Windows computers. The game is an updated recreation of the original City of Heroes and follows the same theme. Users who have played the older version can still use the super-powerful aliens, enemies, and traps they used to fight. You can also create your own teams, just like the original Heroes. They can choose the classes you want, including tanks, healers and bounty hunters.

City of Heroes is the story of Lord recluse who founded Paragon Studios and was the head of Paragon's corporate crime fighting squad. Many members of the squad are killed when anthrax, a virus that causes massive destruction and death, attacks the Earth. They decide to form a group in order to defeat the virus. Kaylee, a member of the squad, is given the codename "Paragon" and is assigned to recruit new talent, train them in Paragon Force fighting style, and fight the invaders. To do this, she moves to Paragon Studios, where she will live and study with the Lord recluse, who has recently died. The current Paragon recruits discover that there are still traitors in the ranks and some people escape from the city during a mission to Africa.

In late 2021, City of Heroes: Homecoming will become available for purchase at major retailers such as Amazon and Games stores across North America.
